Creating a Triptych in Photoshop

An Example of Triptych in Photoshop ----

Firstly I opened 3 images in photoshhop, i resized all images, pressing 'z'  to select the zoom tool, then pressing alt + shift which allows you to zoom all windows.

I then opened all documents and went to Window - Arrange - Tile Vertically

I selected the crop tool and adjusted them to the resolution of 300 dpi. After that i needed to put each image into one file pressing the 'v' key (move tool), dragging the image into one of the other images, holding the shift key down to drop the image. I repeated this for one of the other images, then turning the background layer into a normal layer by double clinking on the layer.

I then selected the middle layer and use the move tool to the left of the edge of the image, holding the shift key down which restricts the movement of the layer to left and right, not being able to move in any other direction.

As i wasn't yet able to see all 3 images together i had to select the other layer moving it to the right side of the image. I then went on - Go Image - Reveal All. This reveals all of the missing pictures in the document.

As there are currently no spaces between the images at this point, i selected the layer of the left image, using the move tool 'v' holding the shift key and tap the left cursor on the keyboard, this moved the image 5 pixels to the left, tap again to move it 10 pixels to the left or until i was happy with how many pixels i used. i selected the layer on he right and repeated the process, having to again selected - Image - Reveal All.

As i used white boarders i selected my crop tool and dragged from one corner of the image to the opposite corner, when i let go i could drag the bounding box out to background layer.
